Bass Pro Shop

On Wednesday--before the massive snow storm hit--I took Maria to lunch at an authentic Mexican restaraunt (where all the people working there ARE actually Mexican and speak Spanish-Gracias!) and then to take photos of a house for work.  Then, I thought she should see the wonder known as Bass Pro Shop.  She was impressed.

To the danish people reading :) ....

I don't think she knew what to think.  She thought it was odd that they sold such a wide variety of items-food, clothes, fishing gear and weapons.  Oh, and then there was the restaurant and bowling alley.

She did not want to see Santa.  Bummer.

Og man bevaeger sig laengere ind... Her er ser man dyr udstillet over det hele..

Here is something you don't get to do every day in Denmark.  She was surprised that you could just walk into a store and buy a gun.  I do not know the gun laws.......but it was interesting to see all the choices.

Lots of dead animals, but lots of live fish.

And then Winter Storm Draco hit and we got this:

School was cancelled and we spent the morning at home and then a trip to Target.  Maria liked Target and would like to go back.  That wont be a problem.  I told her it's my favorite store.  We bought some Sherbet gum and a Butterfinger candy bar.  She would like to find some bacon flavored gum.  We will work on that.

We are off to celebrate Christmas with my parents.
